This website details a study authored by Dr Sophie Duggan. She was motivated to investigate air quality inside vehicles after and her family were exposed to toxic fumes by their family car.
The investigation, which had the project-title of the “Airsafe” (Assessing In-vehicle Respiratory Safety through Air Fume Exposure) study, was funded by the Carbon Monoxide Research Trust and has no commercial links.
The findings, which are peer-reviewed, featured in the December 2024 edition of the academic journal Environment International.
